Rounds!

One of the most intense parts of being an RA is going on rounds. Rain, sleet, or snow, RA's will be on rounds. This is a time for us to build a campus wide community through interacting with the residents in all of the different dorms. Rounds are also important for safety reasons as well, but they are designed for community building. At GWU two RA's go on rounds each night of the week and go to all residents halls. Other universities have different ways of performing rounds but we have found this to be the most efficient way. Rounds are great not only for the RA's but for all of the residents on campus.
