It has come to the attention of several individuals on campus that there is a chance that Nanney Hall (currently and all girls dorm) may be shifted into a guys dorm. The ground floor of Nanney currently houses the Honors Girls. A proposal has been placed to have the top floor converted into the Honors Guys floor. The plans for this change have been discussed but a final decision has not yet been made. There is a chance that all of the current Nanney residents will have to move to somewhere else on campus so that the guys can move in. This is in no way a bad thing but it is most definitely a shift in the dorm life dynamic on campus. I will continue to keep you all posted on this matter. Also, this topic does address the issue of Honors Housing on a college campus.
